Goodbye to Jenny Johns and family. They have bought a home in the Chapel Hill Ward boundaries. Also, goodbye to Audrey Birdsall and family. They have moved into the Overland Park 2 boundaries. We will miss both of these wonderful ladies.

Good Weather Walking Group- meets Mon. Wed. & Fri. at Shawnee Mission Park 6:30am. Meet at East Entrance by the Park & Recreation building.

Hot Mamas Healthy Habits Group- Heather Brown will have more details on summer meeting time very soon. Summer series to begin- Anna Geilman will be giving 3 lessons on Toning, Cardiovascular, and Nutrition. Going along with this we will be holding a contest. More information to come soon.

Book Discussion Group will meet on Thursday, June 4th at 7:00 pm at Bonnie Dutcher’s home: 15612 W. 80th St. Lenexa, KS 66219. We will be discussing the book: The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau. Lots of copies of this book can easily be obtained through the Johnson County Libraries.

Food and Cooking Group--Thursday, June 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Rebecca Rasmussen's home (8906 Dunraven Street, Lenexa). Rebecca will be teaching us how to make the famous Cafe Rio style sweet pork, rice, and Ranch dressing. The cost will be no more than $2 per person (be prepared to pay that night).NOTE: If you are interested in hosting and/or teaching the Food and Cooking group sometime this summer, please call Bonnie Dutcher at 307-0589. This is a very informal group and you can choose the theme you would like to teach about.

Lunch/Dinner Group- No plans right now. If someone would be interested in taking this group over and planning times & places to meet each month that would be great. Please contact Bonnie Dutcher 307-0589

Brayden and Tanner Clark mow lawns during the summer. They will mow every week or just the weeks you are on vacation or just when you don't feel like it. They use their own equipment and gas. Most lawns are $25.00. They can be reached at (913) 962-0807.

Jill Jepperson is looking for Hiking Boots size 4 for Kenzie to wear at girls camp. Does anyone have old pair? Contact Jill @839-0389

Sara Nielsen has parakeets for free for those who would like them. We had several parakeets and then they had babies. It's too many birds for us. They are wonderful and cute and there's nothing wrong with them. We would like to see them go to good homes. Please contact Sara at snielsen@kumc.edu

Tammy Beggs has a treadmill for sale if anyone is interested. It’s a Nordic Trac 1900C. She will sell it for $250 with half the proceeds going to the Breast Cancer 3-day walk.If anyone is interested they can call Tammy @ (913-449-3300) or email me (tammybeggs@yahoo.com) or just come on over and look at it.



Jess Chamber's is trying to raise some money this summer by offering a Mother's Day Out during the summer months. Please call her at 268-7722 if you would like to have her watch your child/children so you can have a day to yourself!
