At this Christmas season, let us take time to ponder the significance of the birth, the life, and the death of the Savior of the world. Of all the pronouncements in sacred or profane literature, the announcement of the angel to the shepherds keeping watch over their flock by night was highly significant:
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:10–11).(James E. Faust, “A Pattern of Love,” Ensign, Dec 1999, 2)

Temple Trip for Relief Society Sisters
Friday, January 23-Saturday, January 24
Join us for a fun and uplifting trip as we travel to the St. Louis Temple on Friday afternoon. We will stay overnight at a hotel near the temple, do a temple session on Saturday morning, and return home on Saturday evening. Mormon Chorale Christmas Concerts: The Mormon Chorale, a voluntary regional choir consisting of over 40 voices from 14 wards in 5 stakes in the greater Kansas City area, will be performing 3 Christmas Concerts in December. Check their website for more information http://www.themormonchorale.org/

*Brother and Sister Morinigo moved here from California and are busy job hunting. Imelda was a wonderful cleaning lady in California and would love to put those skills to work here. Brother Morinigo(Ramon), has over 30 years of experience doing auto body and paint(collision repair,dents, etc.) He is very good at what he does.
